I bought this same item from another store. It works fine for me but the settings are sensitive. I've burned a few food items when the notch is on three.

I hope that this toaster gives me as many years of service as the other Sunbeam appliances have.
It is very good in the color and toasting of breads and bagels

Had this toaster for a week. First it burned the toast on the lowest setting (smoke alarm going off burned). Then the stop cycle button wouldn't work. The bagel adjustment came on whenever it wanted to and then after a week of unplugging when the toast was judged brown enough by me (hubby wanted me to give it a few tries) it quit completely. It was Adios and Goodbye. Returned it and bought the next up toaster in cost. I didn't think low price meant this much trouble.

The Sunbeam 2-Slice Toaster works well enough, but it has one very basic flaw. IT DOES NOT FIT A SLIGHTLY LARGER THAN STANDARD SLICE OF BREAD. Oh it toasts just great but I really am more than a bit put off by having to cut the ends off of most slices of bread in order to get them to fit into the toaster. I guess that it's my own fault. If I hadn't been so cheap and spent a just bit more on a toaster I would have been able to toast an entire slice of bread at one time.
